ABOUT
I'm Whitney.
So nice to meet you!
In 2015, I started my journey into the birth world after watching a few seasons of Call the Midwife and deciding that was the career for me! I began my education to become a midwife at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery in Boise, ID. Originally from Seattle, I then packed my bags, and left the mountains and sea behind (though, missing them daily!) for one of the biggest adventures of my life. I moved across the country for my clinical internship to a place that I thought was only cornfields and Chicago…the Midwest!
I settled in at an out-of-hospital birth center in the Milwaukee area and spent the next few years coming alongside families as they miraculously brought new life into the world. I graduated midwifery school in 2018 and fulfilled my dream of becoming a midwife.

In 2019, I married my wonderful husband, Jake, and we quickly began growing our little family. I put the on-call midwifery life on hold to
stay home and raise my babies, but have continued to be a part of the birth community in various ways. I have a passion for women and families to gain the knowledge they need to make the wisest choices during the very formative pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods of their lives. So, in early 2023, I became certified in teaching childbirth education.
With almost a decade of experience as a birth worker, I would love to come alongside you in your journey and be of service to you by helping you cultivate confidence and skills in one of the most
life transforming and exciting times.
Reach out! I would love to get to know you!
